John Thoroughgood

Having served last season as Club Secretary, and completed his third term in office as President the previous season, John enters his 22nd season on the Carshalton FC Committee as Club Chairman.  We are very fortunate to have someone with such a wealth of experience and such dedication to the Club.

John will be playing a leading role in progressing the Club's FA Charter Status application, as well as looking long term to the future of the Club. 

John is believed to be the only person to hold 6 different positions on the Committee - Chairman, President, Team Secretary, Match Secretary, 1st XI manager and Club Secretary as well as 3rd XI and 2nd XI manager), and in recognition of this, John is a Life Vice President - an honour bestowed of very few in the history of the Club. 

We believe that John is also very keen to introduce a Club private dental scheme.
