Disciplinary Code 2002/03

Carshalton Football Club has introduced a new disciplinary code for players who receive red and yellow cards while representing the Club.  This is documented below.

 
Yellow Cards 1st Booking 1 week Club suspension in addition to AFA punishment
  2nd Booking 2 weeks Club suspension in addition to AFA punishment
  3rd Booking Appearance before The Committee, Club suspension decided by Committee in addition to AFA suspension
  4th Booking Expulsion from the Club
 

 

Red Cards 1st Dismissal 2 week Club suspension in addition to AFA punishment
  2nd Dismissal Appearance before The Committee, Club suspension decided by Committee in addition to AFA suspension
  3rd Dismissal Expulsion from the Club
     
Note that for the 1st and 2nd XIs, no additional action is taken on the first booking, other than the AFA punishment. 

Players who are appealing against their red / yellow cards will have their Club suspension suspended pending the result of the AFA / SAL investigation.  

If a player intends to appeal against his booking / sending off, he or his captain must produce a copy of the appeal report at the Selection Committee meeting.  The Team Secretary has the final decision on whether and when the Club suspension is to be served.
