Keith Cave - Bolivian Terrorist

The following letter was received from 1st XI manager Paul Gunter this week.  It raises serious disciplinary issues regarding the so called retirement of Carshalton Legend Keith Cave.

Dear Committee Members, I feel it is my duty to bring this to the attention of the club.  This is the letter Keith sent to me before he came up with the other "work & family" tosh.  See below letter and photo...

Dear Paul,

This may come as a surprise to you but I have taken the decision to leave Carshalton FC.  There are a number of reasons, but the major contributor to my decision has been my involvement with a group in Bolivia who are fighting for freedom and justice against a repressive regime.  There has been nothing like this oppression since you lot invaded Poland.  Myself, brothers Bob & Terry, and Old Father Rob have been communicating with this group for several months and now finally we will join them (picture attached).

We have full support of our families for this mission of mercy.  I bet most of you will think I am totally mad but I have not taken this decision lightly.  Nothing anyone can say will stop me going - these people need my help.  I hope to see you all again sometime.

Good Luck for the season, Keith.
