John Gale Fund Raiser - update

we are over halfway to selling the tickets for The John Gale Dog Night at Wimbledon Stadium.

The Fund Day in September raised enough to buy John and Electric Wheelchair and help to finish off his shower unit. 

Now Anne and Bill Backers would like to raise a bit to send John and Carole on a nice holiday in the sun

GOING TO THE DOGS - FRIDAY 9TH MAY 1ST RACE 7.30PM

TICKETS TO INCLUDE, ENTRANCE TO WIMBLEDON STADIUM, SILVER SERVICE 3 COURSE MEAL, RACE CARD AND A NICE LADY TO PUT YOUR BETS ON AND BRING YOU MONEY BACK IF YOU DON'T LISTEN TO BILL BACKERS. 

£28.00 per person
includes entrance, 3 course Silver Service Dinner, 

We have booked 100 tickets which I think will go fast - if you would like to come to this exciting event: please send a deposit of £10 per head - rest balance payable mid April.

ALSO - there are 13 races - if you would like to sponsor a race for £100 - name the race and advertise in the race card.

ALSO - if you would like to sponsor a dog for the evening and possibly win a prize - £10 per dog.

ALSO - if I can persuade Tracy to do the raffle - any raffle prizes would be gratefully appreciated.

Anyone who has ever met John and Carole Gale will know what lovely people they are - I have never heard either of them once complain about the tragic circumstances that rendered John paralysed.  So - as well as having a good night out - with a bit of organisation and a few stressful moments (just dealing with Bill) I am sure we can raise a few bob.

Wimbledon Stadium have been very generous and so - for every person who attends £8 will go to John's fund and hopefully we will be able to buy him a bucket and spade as well...........If we get 13 sponsors, we have one already THE HANDICAPPED PAVIORS RACE - SPONSORED BY MNB PAVING...............
