22 Jun 2004 - Youth Section Update - the Youth Section composition for 2004/05 has been finalised, and we will be running U10, U13 and U16 teams. All teams will compete in the West Surrey Youth League. The U10s will be playing in the Premier Elite Division, the U13s in the Premier North Division and the U16s in Division 1. All teams are managed and coached by FA Qualified coaches.
The Club has welcomed a new management team to run our U16s this season - Andy and Sarah Bitmead.
15 Jun 2004 - Roy
MacIntosh - it is with great sadness that we have to
announce the death of former 1st XI skipper Roy MacIntosh
following a car crash last Wednesday. Roy was a
typically hard, uncompromising Scottish centre half, who
played in the 1st XI from 1981 to 1986, captaining the side
in the 1985-86 season. He also managed the 1st XI
during the 1986/87 season, taking them to 4th place in
Division 1. His many former team-mates and friends at Carshalton FC will be both shocked and saddened by this terrible news. The Club sends its condolences and best wishes to his family.
