10th April 2005 - Barclays Spaces for Sports Award

On Sunday 10th April Carshalton FC was presented with the Barclays Bank Spaces for Sports award by Harvey Reid (Barclays Bank Local Business Manager) and Tom Brake MP.  The award consists of a whole load of training gear for the Youth Section including kit bag, training bibs, baseball hats, tee shirts, managers' jackets and fleeces, clipboards, whistles stopwatches, training bags and water bottles.  Carshalton FC were awarded this in recognition of our work with the local community, particularly the Youth Section teams and the School Link with Stanley Park Junior School.  Both Tom and Harvey congratulated the Club for the work being done to encourage young people to participate in sport.  Carshalton FC are grateful to Tom and Harvey for their words of encouragement and support.
