News Summary

14 Jul 2005 - AFA Cup Draws - the 1s are away to Wandsworth Borough in Round 1 of the AFA Surrey / Kent Senior cup on 24 September.  The winners are at home to either Reigatians or Bank of England on 1 November.  In the AFA Senior cup, the 1s are at home to Queen Mary College Old Boys on 22 October.  The winner of this tie travels to the winner of the Old Salopians v Old Suttonians tie.

The 2s travel to Old Stationers in the AFA Intermediate cup on 17 September.  The winners are at home to Ibis on 15 October.  In the AFA Surrey / Kent Intermediate Cup, the 2s are away to Old Addeyans 2s on 8 October and the winners are at home to Old Salesians or Kew Association.

The 3s travel to Old Bealonians on 8 October in the AFA Junior cup, the winners being at home to Ibis or Old Latymerians.

The 4s are away to Chislehurst Sports 3s in the AFA Minor cup on 24 September, with the winners travelling to Old Bealonians.

The 5s are home to either Old Uffingtonians 3s or Southgate County 5s on 26 November in Round 3 of the AFA Senior Novets cup.

The 6s are home to Albanian 6s in the AFA Intermediate Novets cup on 1 October.  The winners are away to Old Edmontonians.

The 7s are home to Winchmore Hill 7s and the 8s are home to Old Wokingians 8s on 19 November in the AFA Junior Novets cup.  If successful, the 7s would face an away tie at either Crouch End Vampires over 40s Vets or Mayfield 3s, and the 8s would be at home to Ealing Association 1s (!!!!) or Old Meadonians over 40s Vets.  I kid you not!!

10 Jul 2005 - Web Site Update - Welcome to the 2005/06 season at Carshalton Football Club.  The web site has had a bit of a revamp and we have moved to a new ISP – fasthosts.co.uk.  This allows us to store more photos, match reports, etc and also provides the facility to generate dynamic reports (once we work out how!).  There have been a few changes to the menu.   We now have an Archive section and a Club Info section.  The Archive section contains all team pages, player profiles, news articles, club officials page and golden goal page from previous seasons. The Club Info section contains contact details, home ground details, articles on Club Development (including the Development Phase 1 update and pictures), FA Charter articles, Club documentation (child protection and other policy documents), disciplinary procedure, cry-off procedure, match fees, etc. If you have comments or questions on these changes, please send them to Buzz at carshaltonfc@hotmail.com.
