Pre Season Training

Carshalton FC's pre season training commences on Thursday 12 July 2007.  As always, this takes place by the Parkside Cafe in Beddington Park, Wallington.  Dave Jenvey (pictured) is the Club's Training Co-ordinator again this season and we are very grateful to Dave for the work he puts in not only during these sessions, but also preparing for the whole pre season schedule. 

Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday until the start of the season from 7.30pm (start times will be earlier as the evenings draw in).  These sessions are open to all existing members and prospective new members.  We strongly encourage ALL players to come to pre season training sessions - it really makes a huge difference to your enjoyment in the season, no matter what squad you are aiming to get into.

New members are most definitely welcome .  The easiest way to join the Club is to attend pre season training.  The more sessions you attend, the fitter you will be, and the more likely you are to be selected for a squad.  All new trialists must fill out a membership registration form and hand it to Dave Jenvey or another Club Official at their first session.  Click here to access the Membership Registration form.

Players are warned that, as happened last season, they run the risk of being overlooked when the 2007/08 squads are selected if they do not attend training - Senior Squad members are expected to attend at least one of the sessions per week.  Anyone unable to attend the training nights must contact Team Secretary Ian Lewis or e-mail the Club at carshaltonfc@hotmail.com to confirm their availability for the forthcoming season.
