Griffen FC U15s

This coming season, our facilities are being used by Griffen FC U15s on Sundays. Under the terms of the agreement, the team has full use of the clubhouse and an allocated pitch for a fixed season long fee.

The team was formed in 2003 by John Gilligan (current Carshalton FC Vets player) and their Club Chairman David Harrison.  Team colours are maroon and sky blue and the team has played in the Tandridge Youth League Central Division since formation with a highest finish of 4th. John is a Level 1 Qualified FA Coach.  He is assisted in the management of the team by Colin Miles (the former West Bromwich Albion and Charlton Athletic player) and Trevor Clark.

Last season the team was awarded the Sportsmanship Trophy by the Tandridge Youth League for under 14 level. Their stated aims fall in line with the Carshalton FC Youth Section ethics - to promote a good attitude from their players, while enjoying and playing the game in the right way.

We wish them every success and an enjoyable time at Beddington Park and hope that some players may consider moving into the senior sides at the end of the season.
