Quiz & Chilli Night

On Friday 16 November, the youth section held a Quiz & Chilli Night to raise money for the youth section of Carshalton Football Club.  There were parents players, manager and friends from all 4 teams, as well as the Club Secretary and Team Secretary and spouses.

The evening was a real success both financially and socially.  Over £500 was raised in ticket sales and "forfeit money" on the night.  The Quiz was run by Martin Firmo and we thank him and his glamorous assistant Denise for an excellent event.  A huge debt of thanks also to Colette Roberts for preparing the Chilli.  Her recipe was in great demand.  A really top effort this, as she had been working throughout the week to prepare for this.  Thanks also to Tracey Thompson for her work in the kitchen and with the raffle.  Thanks to the managers who organised, planned and ran the event.  Thanks also to everyone who turned up and made the evening such a success.
