Friendly - 3rd September 2005

The 1s lost 2-4 in this traditional pre season fixture in Ewell.  Our scorers were Matt Wigham and Rob Morley. We played the first 40 minutes with only 10 men, due to various players either pulling out or not turning up.  Thanks lads.

It was an encouraging performance, considering the numbers deficit.  We had a 15 year old (Earl) playing behind me  and he certainly did not look out of place and we also had a few trialists chucked in for good measure. 

Rob Morley was particularly impressive and I suspect his days in the 6s are probably over.  Thank you to James Greenhouse for putting Rob on my radar and letting me pick him at late notice on Saturday morning.
