AFA Surrey / Kent Senior Cup - 19th November 2005

This report will be short!  Swanny thinks teachers have time to do these things. This is not true!  I am busy pumping up footballs this afternoon and practicing blowing my whistle.

Match started. Paul nearly on time. We tried to beat Bank of England. At some point early in the game Dave Tilley got injured and came off (there’s a surprise - a Tilley off injured!!)  Can't really remember who scored first, I think it was them. Must have been scrappy.  Gary Cummings scored a good equaliser (he played well throughout even though he’s been called in early for extra shooting practice)

They scored again.  Swanny said it could not have been helped that the midget up front scored a header unmarked 6 yards out while both centre backs followed the ball.  I agree!  Good cross BOE, well done.

Swanny scores a goal in second half (amazing cross!!)  They score, we score, Swanny scores again, they score some more, stuff happens.  Gary misses. Ross saves two one-on-ones.  More goals.  A header, tackle and the odd pass. Oh yes Jonny Phillips is back.  Great goal Jonny P!  A.Taylor is solid!

Scoreline somehow ends up 4 – 3 to us after extra time!  Good game.  Good fun!  Team played well.  No ringers, Ian Lewis was watching!  We love you Rodney!

Everyone tired!  Kieth's got a new shirt. Old boys enjoyed themselves. Beer. Sunday (Wigham seen at church! Praying or he’s hurt his back) The END.
