Another Saturday and another cup game and yes you guessed, the game went into extra time.  To be honest we played awful, we lacked drive and determination and our passing was non existent.  When we played, which was just a few minutes of the game, we scored.  The only bright part was the back four.  They were under constant pressure for the whole game and kept us in it for long periods of the game. 

At half time we were leading 1-0 thanks to Jason coolly netting.  We did not deserve the lead as we were under constant pressure.  Charlie read us the riot act in the changing room but nothing changed.  In the first 10 minutes we conceded 2 goals and lost Ross our keeper to injury.  We managed to peg it back to 2-2 at full time.

In the space of two minutes they scored two goals from range (James Chambers got lobbed!!!). In the last half of extra time we scored from the spot but as we were trying to attack to level we were outgunned and our heads dropped, the final score ending up 6-3.

Basically the word from the changing rooms was “CRAP”.  We need to improve on this and get our drive, determination and battling going otherwise we will be in trouble
