Judging by the score 1-1 is a fair result against Nottsborough but to all those who watched or played would tell you otherwise.  Our passing and tackling were awful; we failed to keep hold of the ball and it took 35 minutes before we made a few decent passes.

Nottsborough scored in the first five minutes with a cross from the left (Dean jumped but missed the ball, I’m not sure if his feet got stuck in the mud) and the striker volleyed in.

We managed to level the score with a solo effort from Brendan and were unlucky not to take the lead when a superb free-kick by Michael who shot was superbly saved by the keeper.

We got a mauling at half time from Charlie and in the second half we battled on but our passing and at times our tackling still let us down.  The highlight of the game was Dean (one again) trying to copy a Mark Hughes over head kick. (Dean missed the ball and landed like a sack of potatoes, you might see the area where Dean landed next Saturday)

All to add is that we need to get fitter, improve our passing and tackling and we must keep hold of the ball to keep our challenge going for league honours.
