The 2s had a great start to their pre season fixtures on Saturday when they travelled to the picturesque Harrow Road, home of Combined Counties side Farleigh Rovers and where, despite the hosts having the luxury of  an eighteen-man squad and opening the evening's scoring, produced a stunning first half performance to deservedly beat an experienced Rovers reserve side by five goals to four. The Cars scorers in a memorable match where Shane Bowes 24, 40, & 74 minutes, Sam Butler 35 and Paul Pearce 47.
