AFA Junior Cup – 23 November 2002
This was a seriously disappointing result for Cars in the second round of the AFA Junior cup. Too many players were off colour in a second half in which we collapsed having led 1-0 at half time. The first period had looked promising with Cars well worth their lead, courtesy of a fine move and finish by the impressive Gary Cummings. The game completely changed though with a burst of 3 Holland Park goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half, all of which were softly conceded by a usually stingy Cars back four. Too gutted to write any more (but Dave Robins got the Cars consolation goal).Next week is a big league game vs Lloyds TSB Bank and let's hope for an improved performance.
