We started well with Malik going close, albeit from a rebound off the keeper's kick.  Matt Dudley stamped his authority in the centre of midfield and all in all we created a few chances and were a bit unlucky to go in a goal down at half time.

We played far better in the second half with the sun behind us and created some good chances with Paul Neil and Tony Edwards combining well up front.  After 70 minutes we won a corner on the right hand side; the ball was played back to Kirknall Reynolds who preceded to chip the keeper from the edge of the area.  I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. In all my years of playing at Carshalton I'd never even seen Kirk go over the half way line yet alone have a shot.  Just goes to prove Christmas must be round the corner.  Paul Neil made it 2-1 ten minutes from time with a cheeky finish after rounding the keeper.

Tom Prowse and Jarvis had excellent games along with Matt Dudley. Thanks to Roy and Brassilia who played well in midfield.
