I'm really beginning to wonder what we have to do to get 3 points.  Our new 3-5-2 formation worked perfectly with Dave, Bennetto and Earle at the back performing wonders and giving their forwards hardly any opportunities.  The midfield played out of their skins but we just didn't take enough of our chances and when half time came and we found ourselves 2-0 up with goals from Cookie and Dave Fenton.  You just knew that we could have done with converting one more chance.

They pulled one back 10 minutes in to the second half with a header from a corner.  Their guy climbing all over Bennett yet the ref mysteriously not giving a free kick.  Even then we still managed to create plenty of chances with our forwards Piglet and Bomber continually harassing their defence into making mistakes.  Their equiliser came with 10 minutes to go - a loose ball in the box fell to their forward who easily converted past the stranded keeper.

Our performance was outstanding and special mention to Dave Fenton who was a different kettle of fish.  Even the mild mannered Chris French has added aggression to his game.  Normally a point at O As is a good result, but the journey home felt like a defeat.

If we keep performing to this level, it wont be long before we start climbing the table.
