We just about arrived on time and didn't have a chance to get warmed up, which cost us dearly!  Guess what???  We went 0-1 down after 10 minutes. To be fair their striker anticipated a poor back pass to a defender and finished extremely well by chipping our keeper.  Good goal! 

This got us going and we had a great spell of possession which produced several "man of the match" saves by their goalkeeper. Young Bit got the equalizer after rising like a salmon to Dave Robins' superb cross.  After this we continued to batter them but couldn't find the net due to the in form goalie.  He must have trod in something on the way to the game. 

Half time came and we were by far the better side. I think we had the better chances in the second half with Ryan Polley running the show from the left of midfield but we just could score for toffee.  Dan Lawler had another good game with some crunching midfield tackles. They wrapped up the game (87mins) after Chambers failed to stop the winger who put in a low driving pass to the back post where their forward tapped it home. 

Things need to improve and we need to do the simple things better.  Like passing the ball, Ryan... Win or lose next week I'm sure the team spirit will be as good.  Thanks to everyone who stayed until last orders in the club.
