A good start to the season for the 5s; Martin Head (five bellies! ) opened the scoring with a tap in from the near post in the 15th minute. Kew team pulled one back and applied a lot of pressure until Danny Berry restored the lead with a superb 35 yard shot over the keeper hands ("contender for goal of the season" !). This gave Carshalton a 2-1 lead at half time.

The second half was a close game with both teams missing good chances.  Kew then hit back with a goal in the last ten minutes to level the scores with legs tired (some older than others !) and the dreaded thought of extra time. To our relief, Five Bellies scored the winner with a neat lob over the keeper with a minute left on the clock.
