Our first away game of the season in the league took us to North London to the delights of Cockfosters. We started well with plenty of pressure on the opponent's defence.  Jamie scored on the half-hour with a close range shot from a cross.

Unfortunately Peter was injured just before half time and we later found out that he fractured his left wrist (good job it wasn't your right hand, good luck on you recovery !!!). Peter was replaced by Ryan who played well for the remainder of the game.

A change in goalkeepers at half time saw Tony Knott (thanks for going in goal!) slot into left back with Jon in goal despite being injured (also good luck on you recovery!), it's starting to sound like Dad's Army!

In the second half EBOG put in a strong performance with bad finishing in front of goal, with Jay passing 2 players and flicking the ball over the keeper to make it 2 -0 (his second of the game!). EBOG pulled one goal back, therefore we needed a third to finish the game off. We held on (just!), not sure how, but up comes Jay with just the keeper to beat & scores his third goal of the game in the last 5 minutes. Strong performances by Mark H, Alex, and Jamie.
