Carshalton ran out comfortable winners in this contest with Chris Wells getting a hat trick.  David Booth put some superb passing in to let the Carshalton forward line run riot with the Old Latymerians defence.  Mike Winnister never stopped running and Tony Knott battled well to prevent the Merton forwards making any real inroads.  A good all round performance on a very cold Saturday afternoon.  It was nice to see Chris Thompson get a goal and the picture shows him celebraiting his goal which he got just before the full time whistle.
