To be fair, the lads gave it a real go in the second half but Old Parmiterians had a couple of lads in their mid twenties who after the final whistle admitted they played for Hayes Town last season.  They were too strong for Matthew and Luke.   They ended up 5-0 winners but, as I said, the lads did their best but were beaten by a better side.  Good luck to the victors but they really shouldn't be playing this level.

I was rushed to hospital that evening and diagnosed with cellulitus which had moved up from the left foot to my knee.  I spent the weekend in St Helier being injected with antibiotics, eventually leaving Monday lunchtime.  Now on the pills.  I would like to thank my team mates for pushing me to finally go to hospital and get it checked out!   The show must go on.

I will see you at training, but this time in a 'shouting only' capacity
