We entertained a good BB Eagles side on Pitch 2.  In truth if this had been a boxing match, BB Eagles would have lost the match before half time.  It was a great performance for the lads but we didn't win!  We opened the scoring through Mark Raven and should have doubled or even trebled our lead before half time through Alex Kiszczuk who clearly left his shooting boots with the 3s.  

1-0 at half time, we were playing well.  Not the usual slow start; no rollicking just keep it going.  What do we do straight after half time but let them score a soft goal with their centre forward looping the ball through a flick on over Henry.  Please Henry don't hesitate.  Other than that it was one way traffic.  Wini should have scored when he lobbed the goalie and Mark Raven had a shot from a corner which usually he would score from.  We had further chances from Sam Johnson as we moved him into the middle hoping he would score one of his specials!

A real shame we drew.  We should have won.  The defence was outstanding.  Henry's handling was fine other than the goal, with both Matt and Dick like Messrs Terry and Carragher as opposed to Boumsong and Bramble.  Tom and Peter were solid with Peter playing on with concussion!  Wini had his best game to date this season and Luke and Matt worked really hard against a good BB Eagles presence.   Sam played well in what is not his best position.  Mark and Alex worked hard upfront.  Good to see Danny Berry back.  I must mention Ross Davies who came on.  His speed was incredible as he went past the full back every time.  Actually very exciting from the sidelines - just need to work on his final ball.
