SAL Division 3 - 16 September 2006

Good performance… bad result.  Would rather have been the other way round.  We dominated the first half and had a ‘goal’ disallowed which had clearly gone over the line and then got caught on the sucker punch allowing them to go in at half time 1-0 up.

Second half we continued to dominate before again giving a second goal away.  By the state of the shirts afterwards I couldn’t have asked for much more from my players.  Special well done to Steve Smith for not being used and for the lads who came off without moaning i.e. Alex, John and Matt - none of whom deserved to be hooked but gave a run out to the others on the bench.  To keep things as fair as possible rotation will be used until we start winning.

MOM was Lee Woodward who was very solid at the back, taking on the shirt made famous by Matt Huffer!

South Bank away next week lads.
