This time we got the result we deserved.  Straight from kick off we got ball down the channels and stretched the opposition.  This time we got an early goal through James Harrison.  James is enjoying his football with us and it is good to see.  However we didn’t build on this good start as we failed to convert chances and ‘get that final ball right’.

Half time consisted of keep working hard, let's get that elusive second goal.  It did come from Alex by way of a long range effort going over the goalie's head.  A candidate for goal of the month no doubt.  Great relief all round and this time we pushed on and obtained a 3^rd through Franco.  Another classic top corner effort as the ball came out from a corner.  We still kept going and could have had more.

We played some wonderful football with a good attitude shown by both teams.  Messrs Raven and Lester were simply the best.  Mr Byrne got a carry out.  Jarvis got out of bed.  Both Matts put the fires out.  Woodward and Blackman shut up shop.  Mr Smith is shopping for shorts.  Mikey is a workaholic down the flanks and Alex and Elliot are going to play themselves into form.

Hopefully we can now climb the table.
