Horror of all horrors.  We did not play well.  For some reason the 6th team of the season 2003/2004 chose not to turn up on Saturday.  We were second to the ball choosing to treat the ball like a 'hot potato' -  to coin a phrase.  We dominated possession but did not put an ordinary team out of sight and quite simply got what we deserved - nothing.

Having gone one nil up despite playing below par through Mark's first goal since joining the Club, we failed to build on it and allowed them to actually equalise.  Even more embarrassing, they scored a second when everyone stopped, including the opposition when the ball went well out for a goal kick.  The referee simply ignored it and allowed Civil to score.  I normally stick up for referees but this decision was out of order.  Further sloppy defending from a corner allowed Civil to score the winner despite a late onslaught by ourselves they held out.
