We went 1 up.  Tony Edwards scored from chipping the keeper.  They scored 3 quick goals due to poor defending.  Justin Said scored which kept us in the game. Tony levelled the score in the second half and after some even worse defending we conceded again. Justin saved the day to level the game from a corner. 

At 4-4 we missed several chances and I almost gave a penalty away in the last 2 minutes.  I think everyone saw me “handball” in the box apart from the ref.  To be honest I did try to get out of the way but the ball bounced awkwardly on a pitch that is difficult to play on.

Man of the match was Roberto Carlos whose attitude to the English game has changed a lot.

We need to pick ourselves up in the New Year if we want to win things!  There could even be some new faces at training…
