We got off to a good start for once!  Everyone was up for this game after we lost 1-11 to them at the start of last season in the cup.   Everyone was playing as a team and passing the ball around rather well. Tackles were flying in and we closed them down early.

We went 1-0 up after 20 minutes with a good goal from Justin Said.   Andrew Ferrznolo opened his goal scoring account shortly after with a header that just went over the line.  Two up at half time and they didn’t even look like scoring.  

No changes at half time and we kept the pressure up.  Roberto Carlos, who had been threatening to score all game smashed one in.  We were doing quite well at this point. 

James Chambers took a knock on the knee so I had to come on as a sub.  Why did I bother???  They scored 2 goals, which were both my fault and they were back in the match.  As they searched for an equilizer, we hit them on the break and Roberto turned on a sixpence between 2 defenders and booted it straight in the corner.  4-2 up and the game was almost over.  Then popped up “Euro Boy”.  He danced around 2 defenders and the goalkeeper to tuck the ball in the goal with seconds remaining.

WELL DONE LADS!   GREAT RESULT AND REVENGE FOR LAST YEAR.

Roberto Carlos was man of the match with a great performance and 2 well taken goals.  Best game so far this year!
