Our recent poor run of form was getting out of hand.  Throwing away leads and bad communication became normal.  We knew that this needed to change before we found ourselves out of ideas and out of the division!  We travelled to Old Wilsonians who sat 1 place above us prior to the game.  The game started well for us, having a quick flurry of early chances. The breakthrough came when Chris French's superb through ball allowed Matt Perkins to do what he does best- hit the back of the net! 

Heads stayed high and soon after, Bradley Room latched on to the end of another superb through ball, this time from Matt Perkins, and kept a cool head whilst putting the ball through the keepers legs. 2-0 at half time. No momentum lost at half time as Matt Perkins perfectly timed run kept him inches onside. The opposition back four stood and complained whilst Matt slotted it past the keeper. 

Wilsonians' consolation goal was more of a reminder for us not to get complacent. 3-1 up and we were looking comfortable. Another flurry of chances including hitting the woodwork twice gave us the confidence to push for another. This was done when Chris French pounced on a save from their keeper and side footed it home. 4-1 and a great performance. Well done to the back four who defended superbly, and the midfield, who dropped back to defend every time.
