Christmas hangovers lasted a little longer this year.  Not too much to say about this very poor performance against a team bottom of the division but clearly fielding a side who had not played in many of their matches so far this season (need I say more?)!  Mind you, saying that we were within 2 minutes of an undeserved victory until Lenny gave them a controversial penalty!

Jim’s goals were very well taken, the first was neatly slotted past the keeper from the edge of the box, the second a lovely chip over the keeper’s head from the by-line – no way that that not meant! Rick managed to claim second place in the Rosenthal trophy for miss of the season to go with his 1^st (see 17 Sept!) 3^rd, 4^th, …….! Not many other chances to write about to be honest.

A much improved performance required next week.
