The game started well for the 7s with them having most of the possession and they were giving Lloyds TSB a master class in football. They could only stand and watch as the ball was knocked around them for fun. This quality football led to numerous chances in the first half with Steve and Rick both hitting the post.  Adam Lemon and Jay Breen both went close but the keeper was keeping Lloyds in the match.  With Lloyds first attack of the half they scored, sending them in to half time 1-0 up.

It was more of the same as soon as the second half started, with Lloyds continuing to chase shadows.  Eventually the pressure told with Raz finishing off a fine move with a header that the keeper fumbled. Only five minutes later the ever present Ricky Morris scored from a deflection which was to be his only luck in front of goal as it was quite obvious he was not relying on his talent in front of the goal. The game went downhill as the fitness of both teams started to take its toll. Adam Lemon popped up to score settling the result at 3-1. The game was arguably the best the 7s have played all season!
