Then on to this week and the visit of the league leaders Actonians 10s.  Another big strong side but that’s were we are improving at the moment.  Not as much football as I would like but we are really battling well helped by big James Greenhouse at the back with Al.  And we surprised them I think, with Mark Edmonds hitting the post early on plus 4 or 5 other close calls before chaos in the box lead to an Actonions OG, but we were well worth the lead.

A few more chances and we were 2 up - a great strike from Andy Bitmead from outside the box giving their keeper no chance.  But Actonians pulled one back before halftime.  And they came out fired up for the second half and we did spend a good part of the second half defending, but we defended well and attacked when the chance came.  A good run from Adrian Clarke coming close, and good runs from Scott (Bullet) Shew causing problems for Actonians.  And it was with some relief when Andy fired, no blasted, no scuffed home a third to make it 3 wins in 3 in the league and all deserved.
