After monsoon like rains the Carshalton 8th team headed out onto a waterlogged park pitch with 9 players. The team did well in the first twenty minutes with the score 2-1. Carshalton had a fair share of the possession and played some good football and after scoring Cars' first goal, Malik had a few chances.  Unfortunately with the conditions the way they were, coupled with the lack of men and our centre back having to go off with an injury, by the time the three reinforcements arrived, the team was already knackered.  Carshalton did play some good football and on a different day the result would have been much closer. 

Now we need to look forward to our home game next week, which we need to take away three points
