Our first game of the season, produced a solid performance from Mark stepping in goal for Josh, in this cup tie.

We took charge of the game straight from the off, creating a number of chances throughout the first half, with Cheznie finally putting us in front just before half time.

Links though were very dangerous on the break, but found man of the match Jack H in top form with nothing getting past him, with Connor solidly backing him up .  Jack L & Jack T in midfield worked hard in supporting our forwards and defence.

Half – time saw the introduction of Max & Liam, as Carshalton continued to control the game.  Our passing was now beginning to open up the Links defence, with Liam twice hitting the post and Jack T the bar.  Harry put us two up after being put through on goal and Max completing the scoring after another fine move.

If we can all maintain this effort and commitment we should have a very enjoyable first season together.
