WSYL -  6th November 2005

This was our best overall team performance so far this season, with everyone of the boys on top of their game. Carshalton dominated play from the kick off, right up until the final whistle, against second placed Kingstonian Youth.

It was good to see all the boys actually start a game alert, rather than giving the opposition the opportunity of having the first chance on goal.  Playing the first half against the wind we were virtually camped in their half, creating a number of good chances, only to be denied by some good goalkeeping. We went ahead after about 20 minutes from a free kick, which Connor converted from 30 yards out.

As our dominance continued into the new half,  it wasn’t too long before Max finished off a short corner with a header. We were playing some great football, with Max and Harry linking up well.  It was through their combination that goal No 3 arrived for Liam, who had the simple task of just having to steer the ball home.  The scoring was completed by Jack L (who’s playing better with every game ) with 10 minutes remaining, with a great strike from the edge of the area, after a fine team passing move down their left flank.

Well done boys for a great game from start to finish.
