Miserable conditions for this friendly, matched only by the misery of the Kingston town centre traffic jams!!  We took on Hampton Youth of division 1 in a friendly on a sloppy pitch.  Kicking down the slope in the first half we soon took control and opened the scoring early on.  I won't go through all the goals, as I can't really remember them that well.  Arran and Mike caused plenty of problems up front, while Ben had a stormer on the right wing and Ruaridh was at the centre of most of the quality in midfield.  The defence were rarely called into action, which allowed Ryan to move further forward and he capped another excellent display with a well deserved solo goal - his first for the club - and was promptly substituted!!!

Nice to see Tom return to action with cameos at centre midfield, left back and centre half.

Well done to Hampton for their never give up attitude and to their keeper who had an excellent game.

Next week will be a whole different ball game as we travel to Tooting & Mitcham in the league.  To prepare for this we will be training at the Powerleague at 6.30pm on Tuesday (not at the Club due to the adverse weather conditions).
