A very disappointing result, but at least we played better than the scoreline suggests.  Indeed, with a little more believe and ruthlessness in front of goal, this could have been a different story.  We weren't helped by the injury problems - keeper Dan and centre half Ryan out with illness and centre half Owen and Ben out injured.  Owen went in goal and did a fine job, Luke and Chris slotted in as centre halves and performed with great promise.  The first goal was well constructed and there was little we could do once we had allowed the cross.  The second goal midway through the second half was a long range shot that sailed into the roof of the net, giving Owen no chance.  Is it me or do all teams seem to have the knack of scoring spectacular goals against us?!!

Much better work ethic this week from the vast majority of the boys.  A lot of disappointed faces after the game, which is good that it shows they care.  Of course it is not good as this is supposed to be about fun.  So heads up boys and enjoy training and the final 3 games.
