The half time whistle came and we were 1 down.  A brief talk and all the team knew this was a game we needed to turn around and find the net!  This soon came, a swift move down the right handside saw Robert Appleyard play fine ball to Chris Stevens.  He rounded the defender and crossed  it to Arran Quain, who on his debut smashed the ball into the goal - 1-1.  Now we started to knock the ball around with confidence, pulling their defence all around.  It was only a matter of time before we scored the winner.  A corner was knocked out by their defence and on the edge of the area was Arran again to rifle home the winner - 2-1.

Overall, a good performance and a good win! ( to save Arran's blushes we won't mention the open goal he missed at the end.  He said that as it was his debut he didn't want to take all the glory by scoring a hat-trick).  But it was very pleasing to see the players perform to such a high level.  We are at home to Worcester Park Colts this Sunday 10am K/O in the Surrey Cup and it would be nice to see a few new faces there to support the team.
