Started the season with a difficult first away game to our local rivals Sutton United.  An excellent first half performance was confirmed by a well deserved interval 2-0 lead.  Both goals by our left mid-fielder Leon Cole.  An unfortunate disallowed goal deprived us of securing the game by half time.

However, the second half, was dominated by the hosts, who had several good chances to take all the points, but Mitchell Barwell in goal, held them at bay.  To coin a phrase it’s a game of two halves and taking a point was a fair result in the end.
