We started the game well and dominated the first two thirds of the first half.  Everything seemed to be against us with near misses, shots hitting the bar, shots at the keeper and shots just over the bar in abundance.  This didn’t stop the team who battled on.  All seemed to be going well and it didn’t look as though Predators were going to score either.  Then disaster struck.  Four shots from Predators all produced goals in quick succession.  Half-time score ended at four goals down.

The second half opened with a flurry.  Surely a few Carshalton goals were just around the corner.  But luck seemed to be against us and we could not put our chances away.  Predators on the other hand were good at finding the back of the net.  Then at 0-7 down, Leon Cole set up a perfect cross for Dean Bruce to place in the back of the net.  Unfortunately Predators replied and the final whistle blew at 1-8.  However, the score does not do justice to the Carshalton lads’ efforts.  They played exceptionally well.  Keep playing that way lads and a win is just around the corner.
