We could not have asked for more of our boys.  Three sessions 20/20 and 30 minutes.  Missing three key players and one with a foot injury.  In the first twenty minutes, Sutton hardly got out their own half.  Given they were playing the official Sutton Colts who were all a minimum of one year older and their side also had three more senior players, we did extremely well.  

We went 0-1 down late on in first session, but pulled it back with a Jack Mesure follow up on a long range shot and that is how it ended. 

Graham Polley, who fully expected to be beaten convincingly, was mega impressed.  The Sutton United Youth team manager was also very complimentary and impressed with the standard of football.  He said that the boys performance was a good reflection of what Carshalton F C have achieved with its youth policy.  Its so nice to be appreciated!
