Carshalton took full advantage of a weakened Wizards team on Sunday, with a great team performance.

Carshalton started strongly and set the tone of the match when the electric Shaun finished off a flowing move to put the boys in the lead within the first two minutes. More good football followed, and with Jordan and Harry keeping things tight at the back, the boys pushed forward and were 6-0 up by half time.

Wizards battled manfully in the second half and were only initially denied by some fine goalkeeping by Ollie (the bear). However, Carshalton kept their foot on the gas and although Wizards were rewarded with a couple of consolation goals, which their persistence deserved, Carshalton ran out comfortable winners.

Overall the boys impressed this week, with some good individual performances, allied to greater urgency, teamwork and slick passing.
