West Surrey Youth League - 6th November 2005
Although, yet again, we were beaten by a big score line, this was a different game to the one we played against Surbiton last week. This week we competed all over the pitch in every position. Yes, they were the stronger team and the scoreline reflected this. However, we kept playing football the way we know best, by passing and supporting each other. Every player dug in and persevered in terrible conditions. There were some fine performances, but as usual this is a team effort and I do not like to single out individuals, but feel it would be unfair not to give praise for the two great goals from Shaun and James.
