Carshalton's final friendly before the league season begins was against The Reds from the Wallington Little League.  What we learned from this exercise is that we are much more of a threat when we pass the ball, rather than just running with it.  Some of our goals were well worked and the power and accuracy of our shooting was encouraging.  Everyone had good games as we experimented with certain positional changes.

Tougher tests lie ahead, starting with the game at Tooting and Mitcham next week.  Today's game was a good indicator to show how much the majority of the squad have improved over the past 12 months.  Many thanks to The Reds for the game and for never giving up.  I'm sure they will enjoy their season in the Wallington Little League after the spirit their players showed today.
