 This game was played at Chiswick at 12-30 pm as Poly had no pitches available at 2 pm, but more importantly, because I wanted to go to Stamford Bridge at 3pm!  Fortunately, this was not one of Poly's strongest teams and so we had a lot of possession and at times played some good passing football.  At other times, one or two of us [me] gave the ball away too easily.  Dean got a fine header to put us one up and then Tony scored two more before half time, the first being a particularly fine solo effort.

We had many more chances to increase our tally, but it took about 20 mins before we did with Peter Culham scoring his first of the season.  We then lacked concentration and allowed Poly to score two late goals from their Italian duo up front.  Poly are a good set of lads and they never gave up even though they were under a lot of pressure for most of the match.
